  • School Survey

Every year, we ask all families, teachers, and staff in grades 3-K through 12, and students in grades 6-12 to take the NYC School Survey. The survey gives school leaders a better understanding of what members of their school community think about their school. The information collected by the survey is designed to support a dialogue among all members of the school community about how to make the school a better place to learn.

Survey window is from February 13-March 31

If you would like to complete the survey online, go to NYCSchoolSurvey.org

Families will enter a lower case "f' followed by their child's nine-digit Student Identification (OSIS) Number to access the survey

For example, if a student’s identification number (OSIS) is 123456789, families will type f123456789 to access the survey.

Student OSIS numbers can be found on the student report cards, student ID cards, or in the family's NYC Schools Account (NYCSA).

Paper copies were sent home on Wednesday, March 1. Paper copies can be mailed back in the pre-paid envelope. Families also have the option of returning the completed paper copy to the main office.

  • DOE Device Inventory - Students: bring in devices!

The New York City Department of Education is performing a comprehensive inventory of all devices loaned to students. Make sure that students bring their DOE device with them to school from March 7-March 13.

They do not need to bring accessories (for example, the power cord or keyboard). Please bring the device to school even if it is broken or not in good condition, the DOE will be looking into replacing those.

A letter was sent home with more details.

The healthy food provided helps students succeed inside and outside of the classroom. The DOE will continue to release monthly menu options on the School Food Menus page: the February menus are now available!

Check out the School Food Menus page at any time for the latest

New menu items are now available to students, which have been student taste-tested and approved: BBQ veggie burger, teriyaki veggie nuggets and sweet potato gumbo.

Here is the middle school menu link.

Use this survey link for students and parents to provide feedback on menu options, make suggestions for additions to the menu, and share your dining experience in school cafeterias.
